About 5 years ago I was deeply engaged in some counseling ... found myself at an impass and having difficulty with this particular issue because I felt like forgiving was synonymous with condoning. I can&#039;t even recall where I heard this, but along the journey someone suggested that forgiveness was simply the willingness to live with the consequences of someone else&#039;s sin. It transformed the way I approached those deep issues of forgiveness, as well as my typical reactions to everyday stuff!</description>
